Your Atlas Dashboard is the first page you see when you login. It is dynamic and customizable to provide immediate access to your courses, custom curriculum analysis and reporting.
Today's Curriculum
A quick view of which units and lessons are being taught today from within the courses you've selected on the My Courses list.
Click the unit bar or the lesson to view and access the details.
Click the expand arrow in the top right corner of this section to view the full calendar of units and lessons in the courses you've selected on the My Courses list.
My Courses
This section is a list of the courses you want to see as soon as you login. Units and lessons from the courses you've selected will show up in the Today's Curriculum section. You can select up to 5 courses to show up on this list.
To manage this list:
- Click Customization in the top-right corner of your dashboard.
- In the Today's Curriculum and My Courses sections:
- Sort the list of courses by dragging and dropping the 6 dot sort icon.
- Remove courses from this list by clicking the X icon.
- Add more courses to this list by selecting either the courses you are assigned to in My Courses, or courses you do not develop or teach by selecting Other Courses.
- Click the Add Courses drop-down menu to select the courses.
- Click the Done button in the top-right corner of your page to save changes.
Message Board
Your school's Message Board can be used to post messages to all users. By default, the Atlas team message will show up here until it's customized by your school's Atlas Admin.
Only Atlas Admins can customize the Message Board content:
- Click the pencil icon (edit) at the top right corner of this section.
- Build your new message in the Message Board's free text editor box.
- You can replace your current message with the Atlas default message by clicking the Default Message button.
- You can save your changes as a draft without publishing by clicking the Save Draft button. All Admins can see this draft and publish it, any time.
- You can preview your changes before publishing by clicking the Preview button.
- Publish your changes by clicking the Publish button. All users will see the new message immediately.
Quick Links
The Quick Links section gives you quick access to the most common reports and pages in Atlas. If you had saved reports on our previous Dashboard, they will now exist under Saved Reports or Favorites.
The available Quick Links are:
- Notification Center: All notifications, including Comments and Activity alerts.
- All Courses: View curriculum from across your Atlas site.
- My Lessons: quick access to the Lesson Calendar by Week with access to Lesson Calendar by Month, Lesson List, and Lessons to Review.
- Atlas Learn: An on demand, asynchronous professional development platform.
- Favorites: Courses and units you have added as Favorites.
- Saved Reports: Reports you have saved and that have been shared with you.
- My Standards: A quick report showing your standards alignments in a Standards Analysis report.
- My Assessments: a report showing your Assessment Method pie graph.
- Lessons to Review: The lessons you need to review.
- My Comparative Unit Calendar: A report showing all of your courses on a Comparative Unit Calendar report.
- Admin Dashboard: Comprehensive page for all System Admin access.
- Curriculum Updates: A Search Activity page with "Curriculum Updates" selected in the "by Activity Type" filter.
- Manage Lessons: Complete management of all lesson plans, including viewing, reassigning, reviewing and more
To manage the links in this section:
- Click Customization at the top right corner of your dashboard.
- Click the switch between ON and OFF to view or hide the quick links.
- Click Done button at the top right corner of your page to save changes.
Dashboard Customization
Your dashboard is dynamic and customizable via this page. Click the Customization link in the top-right corner of your dashboard to manage the Today's Curriculum, My Courses and Quick Links sections.
Today's Curriculum and My Courses Panel:
In this section, you manage which courses show up on the My Courses list, affecting which units and lessons show up on the Today's Curriculum calendar.
- Sort the list of courses by dragging and dropping the sort icon.
- Remove courses from this list by clicking the X icon.
- Add more courses to this list by selecting either the courses your assigned to in My Courses, or courses you don't develop or teach by selecting Other Courses.
- Click the Add Courses drop-down menu to select the courses.
- Click the Done button at the top right corner of your page to save changes.

Use this panel to view or hide the available quick links:
- Click the switch between ON and OFF to view or hide the quick links.
