In Atlas, you have the flexibility to create lessons independent of units and subsequently assign them to units as needed. These lessons can be reached through three different methods:
1. At the bottom of the Unit Calendar by Year button.
Once in the Lessons with no units page, you will see:
- My Lessons list, which contains any of the lessons with no units you have created in this course. This list is editable.
- Other Lessons list for lessons with no units created by other course collaborators, which you can click and view but you can not edit.
2. My Atlas > My Lessons > My Lesson Calendar by Week button > My Lesson List. Click the second drop-down menu "All My Lessons" and select Lessons not associated with units.
In My Lessons list, you can view and edit your lessons:
- Click the sorting icon to resort your list of lessons.
- Tick the checkbox beside any lesson to apply one of the actions available on the right side of the lessons table:
- Submit for Review.
- Assign the lesson to other editors.
- Delete the lesson by moving it to the recycle bin.
- Click the Recycle Bin button to access your recycle bin and restore any deleted lesson.
Assign a Lesson with No Unit to a Unit

- Access your lesson with no unit using one of the methods mentioned above.
- Click the lesson title, then click the Actions menu.
- Select Edit Lesson Settings.
