Admin: Complex Checklist

As a System Admin, you can request that we add a Complex Checklist for you by reaching out to us at support@onatlas.com. You can then maintain the Complex Checklist feature used by teachers in their unit planners. Keep in mind, you can have ONE Complex Checklist in Atlas. Here's a snapshot of how teachers can use it in their units:

Settings Section

Use this section to customize your Complex Checklist labels. From Admin > Admin Dashboard > Complex Checklist:

  1. Use the Custom Name for Complex Checklist field to customize this checklist title across Atlas, in Reports, in Search and in Admin Dashboard. 
  2. Use the Custom Label for Main List field to customize the Main List section title. 
  3. Use the Custom Label for Description field to customize the Description box in the user interface. 
  4. Use the Custom Label for Checklist field to customize the Checklist section title. 
  5. Check off the Use simple checklist box if you have only one checklist to add in the Checklist section (no drop-down menus). 

Main List Section

Use this section to manage the Main List items, such as activities.

  1. To add items into the Main List, click Add New Item
  2. To edit a current Main List item, click the pencil icon.
  3. To delete a current Main List item, click the bin icon

Checklist Section

Use this section to manage the Checklists and their checkable items. You can add as many checklists as desired.

  1. To modify the title of a specific checklist, follow these steps:

    • Locate the checklist in the drop-down menu.
    • Click the pencil icon positioned next to the drop-down menu to initiate the editing mode.
    • Two text fields will appear, allowing you to edit the title of the checklist and add a description.
    • Click the Save button to record your changes.
  2. To delete a current checklist, click the bin icon
  3. To add a new checklist, click the + icon
    • Two text fields will appear, allowing you to edit the title of the checklist and add a description.
    • Click the Save button to record your changes.
  4. To add new checkable items to any current checklist, click the Add New Item link to the far left of this section. 
  5. To edit any current checkable item, click the pencil icon.
  6. To delete any current checkable item, click the bin icon
