Get back into Atlas quickly

Most sign-in problems come down to the wrong site address, a missing verification email or an email address Atlas does not recognise. Work through these checks before contacting your administrator.

Check these in order

  1. Use your school's Atlas addressEach school has its own Atlas site. If you are not sure of yours, go to authenticate.onatlas.com or ask your school leadership.
  2. Check the email you are usingSign in with the email address your school added to Atlas. If Atlas does not recognise it, ask your administrator to check your account.
  3. Look for the verification emailFirst-time users are sent a verification email. Wait a few minutes and check your junk folder if it does not arrive.
  4. Reset your passwordIf you have signed in before but your password no longer works, ask your Atlas administrator to reset it.
  5. Choose the right siteIf you work at more than one school, authenticate.onatlas.com lists each of your sites. Pick the one you need.
  6. Bookmark your dashboardOnce you are in, bookmark My Dashboard so you go straight to Atlas next time.
If you're starting from https://authenticate.onatlas.com and have access to multiple sites, you'll see a list

For administrators

  1. Find the userGo to Admin > Manage Users and search for the person.
  2. Check Last Login DateA value of none means they have never signed in, or last signed in before 2016.
  3. Resend or resetUse Actions to Re-send Invitation Email or Reset Password. A manual reset lets the user skip the verification email.
If you forgot to click the “Send Invitation Email” box when adding a new user, simply click the arrow
💡 Tip

If a user signs in through your LMS, their email address must match in both systems.
