If Standards Status Management feature is enabled by your school's system administrators, curriculum developers can prioritize standards at the unit level, indicating how standards will be used in a unit through the Standards Status feature of Atlas.

Usage

When selecting standards that will be taught in each unit, teachers will see (if enabled) additional options to indicate the priority status of each standard.

These additional status labels are customized by your school. Commonly include labels include:

  • Priority (P) - a standard that is the focus of unit teaching & learning
  • Interdisciplinary (I) - a standard that is from another subject area to the core content of the course

After indicating the priority status of standards taught, teachers will see them grouped by status in their unit planners.

Reporting

Standards Overview reports will also show users the standards taught & assessed in each course, along with any standards priority status.

Additionally, the Standards Analysis report includes an extra filter in the Filter Standards section that allows you to report by the standards status created by admins in Atlas.
