Scope and Sequence reports allow you to view a side-by-side comparison of selected unit template categories across courses, to evaluate both horizontal and vertical articulation of the curriculum.

Build a Vertical Scope and Sequence Report when you want to investigate within a selected unit template category for a Subject area, and how the curriculum in that category spirals between Grades or courses that build upon each other.

Build a Horizontal Scope and Sequence Report when you want to investigate within a selected unit template category for a particular Grade-level, and how the curriculum in that category integrates across multiple Subject areas.

A Multiple Category Scope and Sequence Report enables you to build either a vertical or horizontally-focused view as described above when you want to investigate the connections between multiple categories.
Application
Build a Scope and Sequence Report
From Reports drop-down menu, select Scope and Sequence.
1. A window will prompt you to choose the courses you wish to investigate.
2. Use the filters on the left to locate the courses you wish to review and analyze, then click Browse.
3. Optional: check Hide Empty Courses to exclude Courses that have no content.
4. Check the box next to the courses you want to include in your report and click Close.
5. Select the Unit Template Category from the next drop-down.
6 . Click View Report or Submit to view your report.
To edit your report:
- Change the sequence of how the courses appear in your report. Use the Sort to drag and drop to your desired location.
- Click the X icon to remove a course from your report.
- Click Add New course to add more courses to your report.
- Click View Report or Submit to view your revised report.
Build a Multiple Category Scope and Sequence Report
From Reports drop-down menu, select Scope and Sequence.
1. A window will prompt you to choose the Courses you want to investigate.
2. Use the filters on the left to locate the Courses you wish to review and analyze, then click Browse.
3. Optional: check Hide Empty Courses to exclude Courses that have no content.
4. Check the box next to the Courses you wish to include in your report and click Close.
5. Select the Multiple Unit Template Categories from the Select a Report drop-down.
4. Click View Report or Submit to view your report.
