Reports by Type
We think of three "families" of curriculum reporting in Atlas:
Standards & Assessment Reports
Located in the Reports tab, this family of reports helps you see the % of standards taught & assessed (or not taught or assessed) in any subject area, grade level, or course. These reports also allow you to see the number and type of assessments associated with taught standards to answer the following types of questions:- Which standards are we teaching/not and assessing/not? (Standards Analysis Report)
- How many times are we teaching/assessing these standards? (Standards Overview Report)
- In what ways are we assessing students on the standards? (Assessment Methods Report)
Scope & Sequence Reports
Also located in the Reports tab, this family of reports allows you to compare pieces of the written curriculum side-by-side with curriculum in other courses. Using the Scope & Sequence Reports, you can compare the skills taught in Math 6, 7, and 8 (vertical) or see the range of content given to students in the 10th grade (horizontal). You can also view a Comparative Unit Calendar Report to find similarities among course calendars and identify opportunities for collaborative interdisciplinary teaching.
Keyword Search Reports
Located in the Search bar, this family of Atlas reports allows you to uncover where, when, and how often we are covering specific topics or skills in our curriculum. Searchable by school, subject, grade, or date range, the Keyword Search Reports help you uncover answers to the following questions:- Where & when is our school/district teaching _________?
- What resources are used to teach __________?
- Which teachers are covering ________?
- Where is _______ first introduced to students?
- How frequently is ________ addressed across each grade level/ department?
