Standards Editing Tool

System Admins can maintain a customized set of curriculum standards and benchmarks using the Standards Editing Tool in Atlas. Users may select the standards to which they are aligning their units, just as they do with other sets of standards in your system.

In Admin > Admin Dashboard page, if the button in the middle between "Admin Orientation" and "Atlas Services" is absent, then contact us at support@onatlas.com to enable it.

Lessons Viewable by All Users

By default, lessons are private to creators and cannot be viewed by others unless they have editing privileges to the same course, or have special editing privileges. However, we can enable a feature where ALL lessons are viewable by ALL users. A school leadership team member should email us at support@onatlas.com. Keep in mind that it would enable a universal copy feature for lessons. Meaning, all users can copy any lesson they view to their own courses.

Single Sign On Login with Atlas

For schools using a Single Sign-on Service (i.e. Google, Clever, LDAP, etc.), users may log in to Atlas using the same school-provided credentials they use for these other accounts. Contact us at support@onatlas.com if you would like to start a Single Sign-On process in your school!

Monthly Special Reports

The Special Reports service includes 5 reports monthly, for an annual fee. These typically include:

  • User logins
  • Date of courses last updated
  • Date of units last updated
  • List of empty categories (Content, Skills, etc.) by Course
  • Recent course assignment updates (by administrators)

If you’d like a report of specific information that is not on the above list, please let us know what you’re looking for and we’ll try to configure that for you. If you’re interested in this service, contact your Atlas Account Manager or us at support@onatlas.com.

Atlas Public site

An Atlas Public Site is a website that mirrors your internal system in order to make parts of your curriculum accessible to people outside of your school team, either with or without a password. It can contain almost any combination of curriculum elements from your Atlas site, and will be automatically updated when users make changes to their curriculum internally. It is a great way to share part of your curriculum with parents, community members, and other stakeholders, while still keeping selected aspects of your curriculum private.

Contact your Atlas Account Manager or us at support@onatlas.com for more information on building an Atlas Public Site to share with parents, Board Members or community.

Multiple Standards Categories

An Atlas unit planner template can have multiple Standards/Benchmarks categories. Keep in mind that standards can show up in one of these categories only. Contact us at support@onatlas.com if you would like to separate standards in the unit planner by Subject, Grade or by Strand.

Assessment Proficiency Indicators

Marking proficiency levels is a powerful tracking tool for Curriculum Developers. Reports from the proficiency level data can help Curriculum Developers easily answer these types of questions:

  • What are all the standards I Introduced, Practiced, or Mastered this year?
  • Which standards have only been introduced in the first quarter?
  • On and before this date what standards have been taught and at what proficiency level?
  • When did I first practice this standard?

Adopted Curriculum

A feature that allows users to receive a pre-approved curriculum, developed by select Curriculum Developers at your school/district, directly in their user copy of the map without overwriting their work. Contact your Atlas Account Manager, or us at support@onatlas.com, to start the discussion and help you decide if this tool is a good fit for your process or not.
