Planning lessons by date: Lesson Calendar and Google Calendar sync

Put lessons on the right days and keep your calendar in step

Lessons can now be scheduled on several dates, weekends are skipped automatically, and administrators can block days when no lessons happen.

For administrators

  1. Check the academic yearThe Lesson Calendar uses the start and end dates from Admin > Admin Dashboard > Academic Calendar. Select Edit Dates to change them.
  2. Block days with no lessonsClick a date and choose No Lesson Day(s) for holidays, closures and training days.
  3. Add notes for special daysChoose Lesson Note for events such as trips or testing days where lessons may still happen.
Click Edit Dates to open the Academic Calendar section, where you can adjust the academic year's start and end

For teachers

  1. Add a lesson to a dateIn the Weekly Lesson Planner, use Add Lesson to this Date.
  2. Use more than one dateA lesson can be scheduled on several dates that do not need to be next to each other.
  3. Shift lessons when plans changeUse Shift Lesson Dates to move lessons forward or back by a number of days.
  4. See lessons in Google CalendarEach lesson date appears as its own event in Google Calendar.
Click any date on the calendar to create a Key Lesson Dates which is either a No Lesson Day, which blocks teachers
📌 Good to know

Days marked as No Lesson cannot be chosen as lesson dates.
