Quick answer

Select the magnifying glass in the Search bar, then the Curriculum tab. Enter a keyword or phrase, add filters if you need them and select Search. Words with the same root are included, so "graph" also finds "graphing" and "graphs".

How keyword matching works

The search engine also finds units with words that share the same root. A search for "graph" finds units with "graphing" or "graphs", but not "geography" or "paragraph".

You type Atlas returns units that contain
Research paper The word research AND the word paper
"Research paper" The exact phrase research paper
Research or paper Either the word research OR the word paper

Search curriculum by keyword

  1. Select the magnifying glass in the Search bar, then select the Curriculum tab.

  2. Enter your keyword or phrase in the Keyword field. Tick Use Thesaurus to include related terms and synonyms.

  3. Choose where to search. You can search units and attachments linked to the Unit Planner:

    • Curriculum: course curriculum.
    • Lesson Plans: text in attachments identified as Lesson Plans.
    • Links: the content of attachments linked to the unit planners.
  4. Filter your results with one or more drop-down menus. You can add unlimited filters.
