An Atlas Public Site is a website that mirrors your Atlas system to make parts of your curriculum accessible to people outside of your school team, either with or without a password. As an Atlas Admin, you can manage the public curriculum on your Atlas Public Site, if your school has one.
Contact your Atlas Account Manager or Atlas Support team for more information on building an Atlas Public Site to share with parents, board members, or community.
From Admin > Admin Dashboard > Publish Courses to Public Site
Application
Publish or Hide Individual Courses (Admins)
From Admin > Admin Dashboard > Manage Courses
1. Click the pencil icon next to any course you wish to add or remove from your public site.
2. Check off the Public checkbox to make the course visible on your public site. Or, remove the check to hide it.
Publish or Hide Courses in Bulk (Admins)
From Admin > Admin Dashboard> Publish Courses to Public Site
1. Use the filters to select the maps you would like to publish (enable) or hide (disable) from the Public site. Click All Curriculum > All Courses.
2. Check off the Only Show Courses with Units checkbox if you would like to exclude empty maps. Or check off Only Show Courses with Lessons to exclude courses with units with no lesson.
3. Once you have confirmed that the maps appearing within the results table reflect the maps you wish to enable or disable, select the Enable Maps in Public System button to publish those maps. Or click the Disable Maps in Public System button to hide the maps from your public site.
Public maps are marked with a ✓ icon in the Public column.
If you wish to mark ALL your Atlas courses as public, don't select any filter. Just click the Enable Maps in Public System button.
Publish or Hide Individual Attachments in Public Courses (Curriculum Developers)
This is managed by Curriculum Developer themselves, not System Administrators. Curriculum Developer will only see this option if both the Course and Unit Template Category containing the attachment is shared on the Public Site.
From My Atlas > My Courses > Unit Planner
1. Click the pencil icon next to any attachment you wish to add or remove from the public course.
2. Check off the Display on Public Site checkbox to make the attachment visible on your public course. Or, remove the check to hide it.
Publish or Hide Unit Template Categories (Admins)
From Admin > Admin Dashboard > Unit Template Categories
1. Click the pencil icon next to any Unit Template Category you wish to add or remove from all courses on your public site.
2. Check off the Public checkbox to make the category visible on your public courses. Or, remove the check to hide it.
Publish or Hide References (Admins)
From Admin > Admin Dashboard > School References
1. Click the pencil icon next to any reference link you wish to add or remove from your public site. (This will only apply if the References page is enabled on your public site).
2. Check off the Public checkbox to make the reference visible on your public courses. Or, remove the check to hide it.
