As an admin, you have the privileges to create Lesson Planner Templates to be used by all users in Atlas via Manage Templates in Lesson Planner.
- Active templates are available for any user to access and apply to their own lesson plans.
- Admins can create as many templates as they see fit, but are only able to mark up to 12 templates as Active.

Sorting is alphabetical, with Active sorted above the Inactive.

From a user perspective, the templates created by admins are marked with a school icon in the lesson planner view, and users can access them to use in their own lesson planners. However, users can't edit the template structure here, just apply it.
Use descriptive titles for the templates, so it's easy for users to know which template they should use.
Application
Add A New Template
From Admin Dashboard > Manage Lesson Planner Templates
1. Click Add New Template button.
2. Add the title in Lesson Template Title .
3. Use the rich text editor in the details box to create your template. Click here to learn more about text editing and formatting capabilities.
4. Click Save.
Activate or Deactivate a Template
Only Active templates are visible and accessible by users in Atlas. Deactivating a template won't delete its content, it will just be hidden from users in Atlas.
From Admin Dashboard > Manage Lesson Planner Templates
- Click Active status to switch to inactive and hide a template.
- Or, click Inactive status to switch to active and show a template.
You can mark up to 12 templates as Active.
Edit a Template
Admins can edit the templates created for users in the Admin Dashboard section only.
From Admin Dashboard > Manage Lesson Planner Templates
1. Click the pencil icon (edit).
2. You can change the template title in the Lesson Template Title field.
3. You can change the template structure in the details field. Click here to learn more about text editing and formatting capabilities.
4. Click Save to record your changes.
Changes will show up in the newly created lessons moving forward. Existing lessons won't be affected.
